SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a polymer tray for packaging goods, in particular an improved thermoformed solid polymer tray for packaging foodstuffs. A method for manufacturing a polymer tray for packaging goods, including base; sealing surface; side and end walls. In this case, according to the claimed method, a polymer film is produced; the polymer tray is thermoformed in such a way that vertical stiffening ribs are formed on the side and/or end walls, the side and end walls are connected to the base of the tray on the base of the product, longitudinal and/or transverse curved stiffeners and a central platform protruding outward are formed on the base. The group of inventions also relates to a tray for packaging products manufactured by the above method.
EFFECT: claimed method for manufacturing a polymer tray increases the resistance of the polymer tray to deformations resulting from vertical and horizontal loads.
