FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a natamycin derivative modified at the carboxyl group by an amine residue, the structure of which contains an additional main group corresponding to the following formula:

as well as its pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates. In the given formula: R is independently an amino group; an alkylamino group containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms optionally substituted with phenyl, halophenyl or hydroxy; pyridin-2-yl, pyridin-3-yl, pyridin-4-yl, optionally quaternized with an alkyl group containing from 1 to 14 carbon atoms; n = 1-4. Also a method of producing a natamycin derivative and a method of treating systemic fungal infections caused by strains of Candida spp are proposed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create more effective antifungal agents based on new semi-synthetic natamycin amides.
