METHOD FOR CLEARING SILTED AND CLOGGED BEDS OF SMALL URBAN RIVERS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO THE RIVER BED Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E02B3/02 

FIELD: clearing of rivers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the clearing of silted and clogged river beds flowing in conditions cramped by buildings with limited access to a water body, in particular to the clearing of urban rivers located within the city. The method of clearing silted and clogged beds of small urban rivers with limited opportunities for access to the river bed to remove bottom sediments from the bed is characterized by the fact that in places 3 providing access for equipment to the river bed 1, soil bridges 4 and 5 are created, water is removed dry from a space isolated by jumpers and collect bottom sediments with an excavator 8 mounted on a pontoon 9 sliding over the bottom sediments, capable of moving along the silt bottom sediments due to the excavator boom. Bottom sediments 10 are collected and loaded into a nearby container 11, which, after filling, moves along river bed 1 using a traction winch 13 installed on the lower embankment 5, near which it is unloaded into a pre-dug receiving pit 14 or into a cargo vehicle for removal to a storage facility or processing site, after which it is returned by a cable winch 13 to the excavator 8 for further loading. After removing bottom sediments 10 from the space isolated by embankments 4, 5, the upper embankment 4 is removed and, subsequently, all operations are repeated in other sections downstream of the river 1 until it is completely cleared. In the preferred embodiment, the receiving pit 14 filled with bottom sediments 10 is covered with clay soil 15 on top after clearing the selected area.

EFFECT: ability to clear clogged river beds with limited access for specialized equipment, excavator for collecting and removing bottom sediments, to the river bed.
