FIELD: magnetocaloric materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of magnetocaloric materials in heat pumping mode using the magnetocaloric effect (MCE). It is proposed to use the compound Ho((Co1-xNix)0.84Fe0.16)2 as a magnetocaloric material in the working fluid of a magnetic heat engine, where x = 0.1 – 1.0.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the operating efficiency of a magnetic heat engine in a wide temperature range.
