SUBSTANCE: method for producing an antimicrobial porous material based on chitosan containing silver nanoparticles, including: a) preparing a solution of chitosan with a molecular weight of 80 to 300 kDa with a degree of deacetylation of more than 75% in a 0.05-0.5 M aqueous solution of glutamic acid at 50°C, while the concentration of chitosan in the resulting solution is 0.5-3 wt.%; b) freezing the resulting molding solution in plastic or metal molds of the required geometry at -15...-25°C and subsequent defrosting at 22°C and residual pressure 1 Pa; c) re-freezing at a temperature of -15...-25°C and subsequent freeze drying, which is carried out at a residual pressure of no more than 12 Pa and a temperature of -50°C; d) impregnation of the resulting porous matrix with a sol of spherical silver nanoparticles with a diameter of 1.5 to 4 μm in isopropanol with a silver concentration of 10-1000 μg/ml, obtained by metal vapor synthesis by co-condensation of silver and isopropanol vapors in a vacuum of 10-4 mm Hg when cooled, and the purity of silver is 99.99%; e) removing excess sol and drying the swollen silver-containing porous material in a vacuum with a residual pressure of no more than 1 Pa.

EFFECT: providing a method for producing an antimicrobial porous material based on chitosan containing silver nanoparticles with an increased degree of purity, as well as expanding the range of antimicrobial porous materials for medical use.
