FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: means for measuring the content of at least one gas in exhaled air and for pulmonary ventilation. A device is presented for measuring the content of at least one gas in exhaled air, having at least one device for determining the current phase of breathing in the respiratory cycle, connected to a connecting device that is connected to a sampling line for supplying an exhaled air sample to a breathing phase sensor. The device comprises a patient valve connected to the breathing air hose of the breathing air line, at least one controlled valve, to the outlets of which a gas sensor and a gas outlet are connected, and/or a pumping device for supplying a gas sample to the input of the controlled valve and pumping the gas sample out of the flow breathing air into the connection area. It also includes at least one control unit with which the controlled valve and/or the pumping device can be controlled depending on the detected phase of breathing when passing a sample of breathing air supplied depending on the phase of breathing to the patient or from the patient through a gas sensor or sample isolation in the area of the gas sensor, with the determination of the gas content in the exhaled air at a given segment of the respiratory cycle. A method for measuring the content of at least one gas in exhaled air and a device for lung ventilation are also described.
EFFECT: increase in the information content and reliability of determination with a high temporal resolution, as well as ventilation improvement.
