SUBSTANCE: chaotropic mixture for treating cells of yeast or fungi, as well as gram-positive bacteria with a strong cell wall are proposed, in order to obtain genomic DNA samples and a method for obtaining genomic DNA samples from cells of gram-positive bacteria, yeast or fungi with a strong cell wall for PCR amplification. The chaotropic mixture in one embodiment contains 7 M urea, 1% sodium dodecyl sulfate, 0.1-0.2 M ammonia.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of means for obtaining genomic DNA associated with durable cell walls of yeast or fungi and gram-positive bacteria.
