FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: means for controlling and detecting objects on the path of railway rolling stock. The system contains a group of near- and long-range video cameras located on the roof of the locomotive in the front overhang, a computing module, a control module, outputs through the corresponding relays connected to the typhon control valve, to the whistle control valve, to the electro-pneumatic valve and to the driver's electro-pneumatic valve attachment, and a sensor monitor installed in the locomotive control cabin. The outputs of the video cameras are connected via Ethernet to the corresponding inputs of the computing module, the output of which is connected to the input of the control module via a CAN bus, the input is connected to the output of the locomotive speedometer, and the input/output is connected to the output/input of the touch monitor.
EFFECT: improved reliability of detecting objects in the path of movement is achieved with the possibility of automatic braking in the event of a lack of response from the driver.
