FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the spread of neuroepithelial detachment with the development of photoreceptor layer atrophy in choroidal hemangioma (HC). Short-wave and long-wave autofluorescence are carried out. The autofluorescence of the fundus is assessed. If there is a zone of hyperautofluorescence in the short-wave and long-wave range around the GC, and an area of iso-autofluorescence or hypo-autofluorescence in the long-wave range inside the GC, the propagation of neuroepithelial detachment with the development of atrophy of the photoreceptor layer is predicted.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to predict the spread of neuroepithelial detachment with the development of atrophy of the photoreceptor layer in choroidal hemangiomas, which, in turn, provides the possibility of timely determination of indications for early and adequate treatment of HC.
