SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to reduce the radiation load on the doctor during endovascular embolization of the uterine arteries. The patient is placed on the operating table in relation to the C-arm. The C-arm is transferred to the lateral position. The detector is positioned in the patient's pelvis, with left-sided access, the patient's lower limbs are directed to the C-arm. The head end of the trunk with the left limb maximally extended along the head is placed along the operating table towards the doctor. Puncture and catheterization of the left radial artery are performed in the retrograde direction.

EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the level of individual radiation doses of medical personnel by positioning the patient with an increase in the distance from the source of ionizing X-ray radiation to the doctor.
