FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of cylindrical body 1 with fittings for inlet 2 and outlet 3 of the coolant and bracket 4 for hanging it on the machine frame. Inside cylindrical body 1, there are rod 5 with spiral heating element 6 and thermoelectric insulating cup 7. Cover 10 is attached to cylindrical body 1 with coupling screws 9 through gasket 8. Spiral heating element 6 is attached at one end to rod 5, and at the other end to cover 10 through an electrical insulating sleeve. Rod 5 is fixed in cover 10 through electrically insulating conical gasket 11 and cup 12, washer 13 and two nuts 14, 15. The heater is controlled from the on-board network of the vehicle via the control unit located on the dashboard in the cabin. For faster circulation and heating of the coolant in the water jacket, there is electric water pump 16 with a starting system from the vehicle's on-board network located in the same control unit and independent of whether the internal combustion engine is running or not.
EFFECT: simplified design of the device while increasing its reliability and efficiency during the cold season.
