FIELD: traumatology; orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: used for arthroscopic refixation of the posterior root of the meniscus of the knee joint by drilling bone canals and suturing the torn meniscus. The torn posterior root of the meniscus is stitched with 2 transverse and 2 diagonal sutures. Two non-absorbable synthetic tapes for transverse sutures and two synthetic threads for diagonal sutures are used as ligatures. To fix the posterior root of the meniscus from the outer cortical layer to the treated area, 4 parallel through bone channels are drilled on the articular surface of the tibia, into which tapes and threads are passed, which are tied on the cortical layer of the tibia with a titanium suture button.
EFFECT: opportunity to significantly reduce the duration of the postoperative rehabilitation period due to low invasiveness and the absence of important anatomical formations, in particular, neurovascular bundles, in the area of surgical intervention.
