SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for arthroscopic stitching of ruptures of the root of the meniscus of the knee joints. The area of damage to the meniscus is treated with a curette until the appearance of blood dew. Access is performed along the inner surface of the tibia and a channel of 4 mm is formed in the body of the tibia with an exit in the area of damage to the root of the meniscus. A spinal needle is inserted through the canal into the joint and the root of the meniscus is pierced. Through the puncture of the meniscus root, a nylon thread is passed and brought out through a medial arthroscopic access. A nylon thread loop captures the tape and stretches through the root of the meniscus, and the second part of the loop is captured by the terminal clamp and is brought out through the created bone channel. The ends of the tape are fixed in a metal button.

EFFECT: method reduces the risk of damage to soft tissues, paraarticular vessels and nerves, reducing the time of surgery due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
