SUBSTANCE: creation of anti-filtration screens, curtains, and diaphragms for localizing and preventing filtration processes, as well as migration of pollutants from buried, underground and above-ground accumulation objects (pools, barns, storage facilities, tanks, containers, bunkers, landfills, buildings, and structures) and disposal of waste of various classes. The barrier mixture for the manufacture of textile anti-filtration elements contains water-swelling clay as a raw material in the form of a set of different fractions of benthic powders in the following ratio of components, wt.%: benthic powder A (fr. 0.4-0.5 mm ) - 2.91-23.61; benthic powder B (fr. 0.16-0.4 mm ) - 30.41-33.9; benthic powder C (fr. 0-0.16 mm ) - 45.98-66.68, while each benthic powder contains active minerals in the following ratio, wt.%: montmorillonite - 70-92; illite - 0.1-5; quartz - 5-10; calcite - 1-7; feldspars - 1-2; plagioclases - 0.8-3; mica - 0.1-3.

EFFECT: creation of a barrier mixture, the use of which will make it possible to produce a textile anti-filtration element with a filtration coefficient in the range of 1×10^-12-1×10^-13 m/s.
