SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and agriculture and is a genetically engineered diazotrophic bacterium capable of increasing the amount of atmospheric nitrogen in a plant, having increased rpoN expression, and rpoN expression is increased by deleting the native rpoN promoter and replacing it with a constitutive promoter.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the amount of nitrogen obtained from the atmosphere in a plant by bringing the plant into contact with a plurality of the said genetically engineered diazotrophic bacteria.
