SUBSTANCE: emulsion for obtaining a vaccine for fish containing an oil phase, an aqueous phase, an emulsifier and a non-living bacterial antigen containing an esterase selected from Aeromonas salmonicida or Moritella viscosa, where the emulsifier is a polymer emulsifier, which is a block copolymer having the general formula A-B-A, in which component B is a divalent residue of a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol and component A is a residue of a fat-soluble complex monocarboxylic acid, also refers to a method for producing a W/O emulsion, including the following stages: a) mixing an oil phase and a polymer emulsifier and b) emulsifying mixture from stage a) with an aqueous phase, wherein the aqueous phase contains a non-living bacterial antigen, also refers to a vaccine used to protect fish against infection or disease caused by a bacterium selected from Aeromonas salmonicida or Moritella viscosa, which contains an emulsion, also refers to the use of a polymer emulsifier to obtain an emulsion from an oil phase, an aqueous phase and a non-living bacterial antigen containing an esterase selected from Aeromonas salmonicida or Moritella viscosa, and also relates to a method for vaccinating fish against an infection or disease caused by a bacterium selected from Aeromonas salmonicida or Moritella viscosa comprising administering a vaccine to this subject.
