FIELD: vehicle testing.

SUBSTANCE: device for determining the emission of solid particles from tire wear comprises an air duct with a suction nozzle, a solid particle analyser connected to the air duct, and an air pump connected to the output of the analyser. The nozzle is located opposite the tire tread next to the tire contact patch with the road surface behind the vehicle wheel. Inside the nozzle, in its upper and lower walls along its inlet, there are longitudinal grooves in which a removable plate is installed from a set of several different removable plates, each of which has at least one rectangular hole.

EFFECT: increased reliability of studying the emission of solid particles from wear of different sections of a vehicle tire.
