FIELD: continuous casting of blanks.
SUBSTANCE: bearing housing (1) for the rotating roll of a continuous casting machine, which provides support for the high-temperature metal product being cast, contains a support part (3) and a sealing part (5). The first coolant channel (7) is formed on the outer peripheral side of the support part. The second coolant channel (9) is formed on a radially inner side relative to the first channel (7) and on the outer peripheral side of the sealing part (5). The first and second channels are in communication to ensure the passage of coolant through them.
EFFECT: by providing communicating channels for coolant in the sealing and support parts, the thermal load on the bearing housing is reduced. This prevents rotational disturbances, damage to the supporting part and hardening of the sealing part.
