FIELD: unmanned vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: sensor system is installed on an unmanned vehicle and collects information about the environment. The unmanned vehicle is connected to an electronic device. The method includes the steps at which at a given time during operation of an unmanned vehicle on a road section: generating, ranking and classifying the first and second potential trajectories; identifying the best and safest path among the first and second potential paths; the first or second action is ordered to perform. The ranking algorithm indicates the similarity between the corresponding potential and reference trajectories. The classifying algorithm generates a security score. The best and safest potential trajectories are identified based on a combination of appropriate ranking scores and safety scores. The first action is taken if the best trajectory and the safest trajectory are the same potential trajectory. The second action is taken if the best trajectory and the safest trajectory are not the same potential trajectory.
EFFECT: increased safety of manoeuvre while preventing collision of an unmanned vehicle with other objects.
