FIELD: pharmaceuticals and veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biocomposite osteoplastic material for accelerating the consolidation of animal fractures. The biocomposite osteoplastic material contains the following as active ingredients: 1–5 wt.% of hydroxyapatite, 1–5 wt.% of methyluracil, 1–5 wt.% of amoxicillin, 0.5–3 wt.% of calcium alginate stabilizer and the rest is distilled water.
EFFECT: above invention makes it possible to obtain a biocomposite material of a predetermined shape, elastic consistency, which allows it to be introduced into the medullary canal of tubular bones during their fractures for the gradual release of active components, thereby ensuring complete biointegration directly at the site of application, which contributes to the acceleration of bone reparation.
