SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing co-crystalline forms of theophylline with meglumine and theophylline with tromethamine, where the molar ratio in both cases is 1:1, having peaks at 2θ (°) 8.6242, 9.5762, 12.1283, 15.6695, 16.9912, 17.6101, 19.1877, 19.6151, 21.6372, 23.7941, 24.7405, 25.8296, 26.7299, 8.16 27, 29.0237, 33.1000, 34.2944 and peaks at 2θ (°) 12.4715, 13.9308, 14.1418, 14.2572, 18.0419, 19.8859, 20.0612, 21.4605, 22.3185, 23.9172, 25.1470, 25.3925, 28.7318 according to diffractions of X-ray radiation of a polycrystal measurements, respectively, by the method of mechanochemical activation. A mixture of theophylline with meglumine or theophylline with tromethamine is placed in a planetary porcelain ball mill and subjected to mechanical action in the presence of methanol, then the target products are purified by recrystallization from methanol by adsorption of impurities with activated carbon, hot filtration and cooling of the resulting solution.
EFFECT: production of cocrystalline forms of theophylline with meglumine or tromethamine, characterized by a high degree of solubility.
