SUBSTANCE: intramedullary rod for osteosynthesis includes a rod with a cavity, at least one pair of through holes for locking bone screws is made across the rod, at least one piston for insertion into the cavity of the rod between said at least one pair of through holes for locking bone screws, made with the possibility of additional fixation of the locking bone screws when they are inserted into the corresponding at least one pair of through holes for the locking bone screws. The lower end of the piston is located at the lower locking screw, and the upper end of the piston is located at the upper locking bone screw. The lower locking screw has the ability to press on the lower end of the piston, and the upper end of the piston has the ability to press on the section of the upper locking screw.
EFFECT: increased stability of fixation of bone fragments.
