SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to an installation for producing a plurality of sheets from a material containing alkaloids for use in an aerosol generating product, and a method for producing a plurality of sheets from a material containing an alkaloid. A method for producing a plurality of sheets of alkaloid-containing material for use in an aerosol-generating article includes providing a slurry containing the alkaloid-containing material and water in a reservoir; providing a plurality of outlets in said reservoir; supplying pulp from the outlets to the movable support to form a plurality of parallel sheets of material containing alkaloids; and maintaining parallel sheets of alkaloid-containing material separated on the movable support as the movable support moves.
EFFECT: minimization of damage to the sheet during production process.
