METHOD OF PREDICTING IMPAIRMENT OF CARDIAC CONTRACTILE FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE COMBINED WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS AFTER CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS SURGERY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B10/00 G01N33/577

Abstract RU 2806239 C1

FIELD: medicine; cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the risk of developing contractile dysfunction after coronary artery bypass surgery in patients with coronary heart disease associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The expression level of SERCA2a protein is determined in the biopsy material of the right atrial appendage. When SERCA2a protein expression level is less than 230 relative absorbance units pl/mg protein a high risk of developing cardiac contractile dysfunction is predicted.

EFFECT: method allows for timely correct postoperative treatment tactics by identifying patients with an increased risk of progression of contractile dysfunction of the heart with comorbid coronary artery disease and diabetes by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
