FIELD: photocells manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring the overall dimensions of glass plates of photocells includes a transport mechanism in the form of a support table made of rollers arranged in a row, a plane-parallel end length gauge with two plane-parallel sides having flat mutually parallel measuring surfaces of different lengths, between which the transport mechanism with a support table is located made in the form of a plate in which holes are formed with metal rods fixed in them horizontally in a row with rollers made of polyamide, which are equipped with grooves with silicone rings of circular cross-section located in them, the rollers are made with the possibility of independent rotation when manually rolling the glass plate between flat mutually parallel measuring surfaces, and rolling is accompanied by the possibility of pressing the edge of the glass plate to a measuring surface of greater length.
EFFECT: increased yield of usable thin glass plates with a thickness of less than 150 microns by eliminating surface defects introduced during the inspection process.
