FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to method for manufacturing photocells with radiation-resistant protective glass. Space phototransducers glass plates manufacturing method includes formation of surface compression layer on glass plate, acid etching in hydrofluoric acid solution to the depth equal or greater than compressed glass layer depth, protection of etched glass surface by means of chemical hardening, acid etching is performed via the solution glass plates vertical forward/reverse movement, and after chemical hardening, a silicone rubber protective layer one-sided drop coating is applied to the glass plates using a mixture of solvent and petrol Nefras as a solvent for the silicone rubber.
EFFECT: invention provides for increasing yield of good quality glass plates, photocells during assembly and installation operations at the expense of glass plate etching homogeneity during performance of of chemical-dynamic etching and increasing mechanical strength of glass plates by means of bleeding edge defects and polymer protection of the glass plate back side after chemical hardening.
