FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to training means specifically designed for the development of the foot by distributing the load on the student’s foot, as well as to increase the longitudinal arch of the foot and to improve the body’s balance function by controlling the position of the foot on three points of support. The simulator contains a front and a rear platform. On the upper surfaces of both platforms there are support parts for the foot, with the area of the support part of the rear platform being larger than the area of the support part of the front platform. Non-slip coatings are made on the upper surfaces of the supporting platforms. At least one arc-shaped base with holes is attached to the lower surface of each supporting part. The arcuate base of the rear platform is made in the form of a half-cylinder, and the arcuate base of the front platform is made in the form of an inverted isosceles triangle with a rounded apex. The platforms are secured to each other by means of a rod fixed in the holes of the arcuate base with the possibility of rotation, so that the axis of the rod is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the simulator. The rod is attached to the arcuate base by means of a bolted connection. The device is made with the ability to adjust the distance between the platforms by means of a threaded connection made on the rod and in the corresponding holes of the arcuate bases. A method of using the said simulator is also presented.

EFFECT: increase in the mobility of the foot joints and the development of balance is achieved, as well as an increase in the safety and effectiveness of training for the development of mobility of the foot joints.
