FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: simulator for the rehabilitation of patients contains a body with rotating slats located in front, right, left and top with the possibility of clockwise and counterclockwise rotation of the patient's upper limbs in a sitting position. The body of the simulator consists of L-shaped rack-holders fixed on the guides of the body and containing vertical rack-holders with a node of rotation around the axis of the slats with handles. The horizontal and O-shaped handles of each bar are equipped with a handle rotating around the axis. An upper horizontal rack-holder containing an upper bar rotating around the axis is fixed on the vertical rack. The method of rehabilitation consists in performing three types of exercises. When performing the first type of exercise, the patient, sitting on the seat and holding the handles of the O-shaped handles, performs rotational movements of the shoulder area and the thoracic spine clockwise and counterclockwise, rotating the upper bar around the axis through the rotation node in the axial plane. When performing the second type of exercise, the patient, sitting on the seat and holding the handles of O-shaped or horizontal handles with his hands, performs rotational movements with his hands clockwise and counterclockwise, rotating the front bar around the axis through the rotation node in the frontal plane. When performing the third type of exercise, the patient, sitting on the seat and holding the handles of O-shaped or horizontal handles, performs rotational movements with his hands alternately or simultaneously clockwise and counterclockwise, rotating the right and left bars around the axis through the rotation nodes in the sagittal plane.
EFFECT: ensuring the development of the patient's motor capabilities and endurance, treatment and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system, arm joints, muscle strengthening by increasing the variability of load changes in all three planes applied to various muscle groups of the trunk, arms and joints during therapeutic measures or training.
