FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pediatrics and pulmonology, and can be used for determining the bronchial asthma endotype in children aged 5 to 12 years. Such spirometry indices as forced exhalation volume in the first second (FEV1) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) are analyzed. Concentration of nitrogen oxide (FeNOex) is measured. Method comprises assessing the physical state of the patients by determining a body weight index (BWI) and assessing the quality of life on a questionnaire for percentage deviation of quality of life PDQL after treatment. Patient's sensitivity to drug-induced treatment by inhaled glucocorticosteroid hormones (iGCS) and long-acting beta-agonists (LABA) in pharmacotherapy, after which endotype of atopic bronchial asthma of EBA is determined by original design formula. If the sum of EBA is 5 or less, bronchial asthma 1 endotype is determined, if the EBA in total of 6–10 points, endotype 2 is determined, if the EBA in total of 11–15 points, endotypes 3 are determined.

EFFECT: method enables detecting patients with certain BA endotypes, improving diagnosis, improving the reliability of treating patients with atopic asthma, and improving the patients' quality of life.
