FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an adhesive pad for myofunctional exercises, variants of a method for myofunctional exercises of a subject and the use of a composition. The adhesive pad contains carboxymethylcellulose in an amount of 15% to 35% by weight. The adhesive pad includes a hydrocolloid selected from the group consisting of starch, polysaccharide, gelatin and gum in an amount of from 35% to 70% by weight. The gum is selected from the group consisting of guar gum, karaya gum, xanthan gum, acacia gum, gum arabic and locust bean gum, and the polysaccharide is agar and/or pectin. The adhesive pad is completely biodegradable. In a first embodiment, a method comprises the following steps: obtaining an adhesive pad, and attaching the adhesive pad to a surface in the oral cavity of a subject; for myofunctional training of the subject. In the second variant of the method, there is a stage of attaching the adhesive pad to the surface of the apparatus or device for oral administration. The use of the composition is intended for myofunctional exercises.
EFFECT: solution to the problem of tongue deviation from its desired orientation, position and/or direction of movement.
