SUBSTANCE: heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of propylene by high-temperature dehydrogenation of propane, which is lanthanum molybdate powder obtained by the reaction of lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate La(NO3)3⋅6H2O and potassium molybdate dihydrate K2MoO4⋅2H2O, or praseodymium molybdate, obtained by the reaction of praseodymium nitrate hexahydrate Pr(NO3)3⋅6H2O and potassium molybdate dihydrate K2MoO4⋅2H2O, followed by calcination of the resulting sediment in a muffle furnace at a temperature of 700°C for 3 hours, containing a dopant of potassium ions from 0.05 to 0.10 wt.%. The invention also relates to a method for propane dehydrogenation.
