SUBSTANCE: cassette is provided the size of which can be reduced in a direction orthogonal to the up-down direction. The cassette includes a tape body 21 provided with a first side wall 16a extending in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, a second side wall 16b extending in a third direction that is orthogonal to the first direction and intersects with the second direction, and a recess wall 16c extending along one of paths in a second direction from the second side wall 16b and extending in a third direction from the second side wall 16b along one of the paths in the second direction to define the recess 99. At least a portion of the recess 99 overlaps the print tape 26 in a first direction. Accordingly, the tape body 20 provided with the print tape 26 and the tape body 21 provided with the recess wall 16c overlap in a first direction, namely in the up-down direction, and at least a portion of the recess 99 overlaps the print tape 26 in the first direction. Accordingly, the cassette 10 is reduced in size in an orthogonal direction that is orthogonal to the up-down direction.

EFFECT: cassette size is reduced.
