FIELD: animal food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food products for domestic animals. The food product includes a flavor composition containing a) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of sodium tripolyphosphate (Na5P3O10), fish hydrolysate, peptone, 16:0 lyso-PG 1-palmitoyl-2- hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol and any combination thereof, and b) water, wherein the feed product includes a pet food product. The flavor composition is present in the food product in a concentration from 10 pM to 1 M, or in a concentration from 0.01 to 1,000 ppm, or in a concentration from 0.01 to 10 wt./wt.%, or in a concentration from 1 nM to 0.1 M. The food product is used for cats and dogs. The food product may be a wet or dry food product.
EFFECT: proposed food product has increased nutritional attractiveness due to the inclusion of a flavoring composition that modulates, increases and/or enhances the activity of the GPR92 receptor.
