FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ingots from precision alloy of “Н70Х10Ф8Я7” grade, and can be used in production of resistive wires and tapes, including for precision foil resistors. Proposed method comprises melting alloy from pure charge materials in vacuum furnace and casting alloy melt to produce ingot. Gallium is pre-mixed with crushed degassed chromium before melting and placed in a dead-bottom nickel cup, positioning a dead-bottom nickel cup with mixed gallium and crushed degassed chromium in a monolithic corundum crucible, as well as pure charge materials in the form of nickel, chromium, vanadium, germanium, rhenium and iron, the alloy is melted in a vacuum induction furnace with subsequent pouring of the melt into steel molds.
EFFECT: production of ingot of required chemical composition of precision alloy of “Н70Х10Ф8Я7” grade.
