FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for generating ionizing radiation and a magnetic field is disclosed, which emits a beam of photons onto the affected tissue of the patient's body, and a corresponding method. The device includes a radiation generation unit that emits a photon beam to the patient and induces the generation of secondary electrons in the area of the patient's body to which the photon beam is emitted, a magnetic field generation unit designed to be introduced into the body and includes an insert structure for forming a low density space, and generating a magnetic field in a region in which the secondary electrons are generated, and a timing control unit that controls the generation of the magnetic field so that at least a portion of the secondary electrons moves to a low density space, based on the relationship between the region irradiated by the photon beam, and the location of the affected part.
EFFECT: providing such a movement of secondary electrons during the formation of a magnetic field that they do not fall on healthy tissue adjacent to the affected tissue.
