FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: X-ray delivery system has a portable base unit, on which the first end of a robotic arm is mounted. A nozzle for X-ray therapy is located at the second end of the robotic arm. The nozzle for X-ray therapy contains at least one X-ray component made with the possibility of generating therapeutic radiation in the X-ray wavelength range. A calibration cell is located in the specified position in the portable base unit. The calibration cell consists of a recess, inside of which the nozzle for X-ray therapy can be placed, and has at least one passage, through which the nozzle for X-ray therapy can be inserted using the robotic arm for calibration operations. The calibration cell has X-ray sensitive elements located in distributed positions around the periphery of the calibration cell.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will minimize fluctuations in the dose of X-ray radiation delivered by the therapy nozzle to surfaces of the tumor bed.
