SUBSTANCE: used to assess the effect of drinking mineral waters on gastric accommodation. The concentration of cholecystokinin in the blood is measured. The initial concentration of cholecystokinin and the concentration of cholecystokinin are measured in the examined person after taking 200 ml of the studied drinking mineral water at room temperature. An increase in the concentration of cholecystokinin after taking mineral water by 10% or more indicates its stimulating effect on gastric accommodation. A change of less than 10% or no change in concentration indicates no effect. A decrease in cholecystokinin concentration by 10% or more indicates its inhibitory effect.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of assessing the effect of drinking mineral water on the accommodation of the stomach using a method that does not distort the physiology of the organ by measuring and comparing the concentration of cholecystokinin in the blood on an empty stomach and after taking the drinking mineral water under study, which gives an objective assessment of the effect of drinking balneotherapy on the relaxation mechanism of the proximal stomach, does not require special expensive equipment not provided by health institutions, and ease of use.
