FIELD: magnetohydrodynamics.

SUBSTANCE: device simulating plasma interaction contains a plasma container configured to contain a gas mixture, an ionization source, a set of electrically conductive rib circuits, and a set of electrically conductive coil circuits. Each electrically conductive rib contour in the set of electrically conductive rib contours (i) includes a front portion located adjacent to the plasma container, and (ii) extends from the front portion to a distal portion in a radial direction from the plasma container.

EFFECT: ability to simulate magnetohydrodynamics in a non-fluid environment.
