Disclosed is an apparatus for roasting coffee beans, comprising: a chamber for placing coffee beans, heating device for heating coffee beans placed in the chamber, a control system configured to control the heating device and made with possibility of application of roasting recipe R, providing temperatures applied at separate successive moments of time t₁, t₂, …, t_final respectively, while for an individual mixture of coffee beans C_A, C_B, …, placed inside the chamber, the control system is configured to determine the roasting recipe Rym for roasting said mixture in the roasting apparatus by: obtaining for each type of coffee beans C_n, included in said mixture of at least: type C_n specified type of coffee beans, and quantity m_n specified type of coffee beans C_n, placed in the chamber, and based on the obtained type C_n obtaining access to at least roasting recipes RM_A, RM_B, … different types of coffee beans C_A, C_B, ... respectively, wherein each recipe RM_n is adapted to roasting one predetermined amount M_n of grains of the same type C_n and provides temperatures used at discrete successive moments of time t_i, respectively, and temperature adaptation coefficients K_A, K_B, … said different types of coffee beans C_A, C_B, …, respectively, an individual mixture, and based on the obtained amounts of m_n different coffee beans C_n and available recipes for roasting RM_n and temperature coefficients K_n, determining the roasting recipe R_blend, which must be used for said individual mixture of coffee beans placed inside the chamber. Described also is a computer-readable data medium containing instructions which, when executed by a computer, a processor or a control unit, lead to the operation of the control system of the described apparatus.
