FIELD: valve engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect cryogenic tanks and reservoirs. The safety device for cryogenic tanks contains a safety valve connected to the gas cushion of the tank and equipped with a pneumatic drive, and a pulse valve made in the form of a diaphragm unit connected to the gas cushion of the tank, and a shut-off valve with a spring. The pneumatic actuator contains a seat and a piston with a sealing element. In a pulse valve, the above-valve cavity of the shut-off valve is connected by a pipeline to the gas cushion of the tank. The cavity under the shut-off valve is connected by a pipeline to the control cavity of the pneumatic actuator, which is connected to the atmosphere through a nozzle.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the safety device for cryogenic tanks by eliminating the high pressure source with the control medium.
