FIELD: medicine; orthopedic dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns glass filler which can be used as a filler for filling and restoration dental materials. The proposed glass filler contains the following ingredients as a main composition, wt.%: SiO2 47.0–51.0; Al2O3 13.0–19.2; BaO 17.0–22.0; B2O3 10.0–16.0; TiO2 1.3–2.0; SrO 0.7–1.5; F 0.5–2.3, and additionally contains Cl 0.5–1.5% based on 100 wt.% of the main composition.
EFFECT: use of the specified composition of components helps to decrease the cooking temperature, improve of mechanical properties such as hardness (strength) and, accordingly, abrasion resistance, to increase the degree of whiteness of the glass filler obtained in the form of powder compared to the prototype, and expand the range of fillers for filling and restoration dental materials.
