FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a method of obtaining an aseptic culture of Oxycoccus palustris Pers., including collecting young non-lignified shoots of bog cranberry, preliminary cleaning of cuttings from leaves, washing with Nika soap solution for 10–15 minutes and rinsing three times with distilled water, cutting into explants — microcuttings with 2–3 buds, subsequent two-stage sterilization in 70% ethyl alcohol for 30 s and 37% hydrogen peroxide for 3 min, washing three times with sterile distilled water, placing sterile explants on Murashige-Skoog (MS) agar nutrient medium of classical composition with the addition of the phytohormone 6-benzylaminopurine at a concentration of 5 mg/l, incubation for 4–6 weeks at a temperature of 23–25°C and photoperiod of 16/8.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in aseptic viable cultures of Oxycoccus palustris Pers for further microclonal propagation.
