SUBSTANCE: device contains a vertical rack, a load beam pivotally connected to the vertical rack and equipped with two horizontal mounting elements, a cargo carriage with a lifting hook and a gripper mounted on it, supports adjustable along the length, pivotally attached to the ends of the horizontal mounting elements, the lower part of the supports is pivotally connected to bases made in the form of metal plates. The vertical rack is installed on the foundation, the load beam is equipped with a counterweight and mounted on a vertical rack with the ability to rotate in horizontal and vertical planes, and the hinged connection of the load beam with the rack is equipped with a stop to limit the rotation of the load beam in the vertical plane. The device is installed at a production site located in close proximity to the railway track.

EFFECT: expansion of the scope of technical means for loading and unloading rails during the processes of monitoring their technical condition, mechanical processing, organizing storage, and ease of manufacturing of the device is achieved.
