FIELD: neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurosurgical stencils. A neurosurgical stencil for performing pterional craniotomy in a given volume is a disposable personalized product made of medical polymer containing a body with a working surface congruent with the outer surface of the skull bones, the contour of which corresponds to the planned boundaries of the craniotomy area and is intended for intraoperative marking of this area. The outer edge of the working surface is used for marking. The body contains processes for temporary fixation to the zygomatic process of the frontal bone and the zygomatic process of the temporal bone, as well as protrusions for marking milling holes and a reinforcing frame made of stiffening ribs.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of performing pterional craniotomy.
