SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is described, including a method for producing a polyclonal antibody (embodiments). In one embodiment, the method includes isolating and further purifying a polyclonal antibody capable of binding to full-length VAMP and a C-terminal VAMP cleavage product in a cell lysate, wherein the C-terminal VAMP cleavage product is derived from VAMP cleavage by a clostridial neurotoxin from blood obtained from an animal.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of methods for producing polyclonal antibodies that bind to full-length VAMP and the C-terminal VAMP cleavage product in cell lysate.
