FIELD: gas generators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of cold nitrogen gas generators on solid chemical fuel intended for use as sources of compressed gas in various actuators, for operational pressurization of various rescue devices. The gas generator contains a housing with an outlet. The case contains an igniter, a charge, a filter cooler, and a metal grille. A pyrotechnic igniter and a flame force divider with one hole on the side of the pyrotechnic igniter and holes on the side of the igniter are installed in front of the igniter. In the head part of the body there are steel the spring and the substrate in the form of a ring. A safety valve is installed in the outlet. The filter cooler is made in the form of a monoblock with a thickness of at least one third of the charge length from a heat-resistant filter material with a strength of at least 25 kgf/cm2 and a pore size of no more than 130 microns. The charge is made of a gas-generating composition containing the sodium salt of polyvinyl tetrazole, lithium fluoride, sodium carbonate and sodium azide.
EFFECT: technical result when using the claimed invention makes it possible to create a reliable and safe design.
