SUBWAY LINE IN DEEP URBAN AREAS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E21D9/00

Abstract RU 2808273 C1

FIELD: construction; design of subway lines.

SUBSTANCE: subway line in deep urban areas includes a double-track, single-level running tunnel, rail tracks and stations with landing platforms within the tunnel volume. Two pairs of rail tracks in the opposite direction of movement in the haul tunnels between stations at a distance of at least 25 m from the ends of each station are combined using turnouts into one track located within the station for the movement of cars in both opposite directions. According to the design, the subway line consists of a transport tunnel and stations, with two tracks and stations located in one tunnel, and within the stations there is one track and platforms, and the tracks in the tunnel are connected to the track at the station by turnouts. According to the method, the line is constructed using a tunnel-boring complex with a short-term opening of a pit of minimal volume to accommodate auxiliary premises of stations and escalators connecting to the above-ground vestibule.

EFFECT: reducing the volume of the excavated pit, the zone of influence on nearby buildings, structures and other elements of the city's infrastructure, due to the fact that the station is located in a small-sized tunnel with a diameter of 9.6 m.
