FIELD: production of liquid glass.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing liquid glass with different silicon modules for hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites. A method for producing liquid glass is proposed, which includes dissolving silica gel, which is a waste product from the production of aluminium fluoride and contains from 99.0 to 99.8 wt.% of SiO2, followed by separation from the undissolved part of the sediment and its return to the cycle, characterized in that the dissolution is carried out in an alkaline solution with a NaOH concentration of 12.5 to 15.0 wt.% at temperatures from 95 to 100°C and stirring speed from 300 to 320 rpm for 4 to 5.5 hours, dissolution of silica gel is carried out in equal portions of 2.5 g/sample, and the second portion of silica gel is introduced after complete dissolution of the first portion and silica gel is introduced until then until the last added portion dissolves for at least 30 minutes, producing liquid glass, which is sent for filtration to produce a solid phase of silica gel, which is returned to the cycle for re-dissolution in an alkaline solution, and a liquid phase of liquid glass with a silicon module of 2.8 to 3.1 and a density from 1.26 to 1.31 g/cm3, which is the finished product. Liquid glass is used to produce adsorbents, catalysts and zeolites with various functional properties.

EFFECT: production of liquid glass that does not contain impurities.
