SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technologies for assembling products, and can be used to obtain assembly units by gluing friction products into the holes of brake tires. Mechanical processing of the hole in the brake tire and the cylindrical surface of the friction element is carried out. An adhesive compound is obtained and applied to the surface of the hole and the friction element. The processing of the hole and the cylindrical surface of the friction element is carried out until diameters are obtained that provide a diametrical clearance equal to 0.2-0.6 mm. The adhesive compound is prepared by mixing the adhesive epoxy composition and 40-70% filler by weight of the adhesive epoxy composition. The brake tire of the car retarder consists of a middle, end right, end left tire, providing the required length along the brake beam, with glued friction elements.
