SUBSTANCE: single-line bidirectional direct communication channel between on-chip pads and a method for creating it, the channel includes a processing unit, a communication unit, a register unit, a first pad terminal and a second pad terminal, a first unidirectional direct communication module and a second unidirectional direct communication module; the first unidirectional feedforward module is used to unidirectionally transmit a first level signal from a terminal of the first pad to a terminal of the second pad; a second unidirectional feedforward module is used to unidirectionally transmit a second-level signal from a terminal of the second pad to a terminal of the first pad; the first unidirectional feedforward module is connected to the second unidirectional feedforward module through internal nodes; the on-chip processing unit sends a command to start the bidirectional direct communication mode to the communication unit and the register unit in accordance with the communication protocol; the communication unit receives the command to start the bidirectional forward communication mode and switches the first unidirectional forward communication module and the second unidirectional forward communication module to the bidirectional forward communication mode, that is, data transmission and reception of data on the first pad terminal and on the second pad terminal are carried out in accordance with communication protocol of the processor unit.
